Tropic Wings has its own Registered Driving School for people who are interested in learning to drive a coach and becoming a professional Coach Driver Guide.
With a strong possibility of work at the end of the course, participants not only learn to drive a Coach, but also learn how to conduct commentary, a day tour, vehicle safety checks and essential skills in becoming a quality Coach Captain, a much sort after skill in the current market.
We are currently looking for Expressions of Interest from potential applicants who would like to train to be a professional Coach Driver Guide.
Studying for your HR licence, persons with LR and MR licences are encouraged to apply in conjunction with those that have never driven any type of bus before.
This course will be run at a minimal cost so get in quick, limited positions are available. All applications must have a clean driving record and be able to obtain a Drivers Authorisation.
It is envisaged that we will commence training in May 2008. Depending on demand the course will be run periodically throughout the year.
