Tropic Wings Coach Tours is the largest and longest established coach touring company in Cairns, and is proudly 100% Australian locally owned and operated.
Tropic Wings started as a one vehicle operation in 1981, when Charles and Pip Woodward bought a coach to bring visitors to Rainforestation Nature Park, then known as Mountain Groves.
This ensured the attraction was included in tour programmes, and Kuranda soon became a destination in its own right.
The significant growth of tourism in the region saw Tropic Wings expand rapidly, and today Tropic Wings boasts a modern fleet of over 30 vehicles.
In 2005, the Woodwards launched a new group name for the several companies they owned - The CaPTA Group, standing for Cairns and Port Trips & Attractions.
